In July 2009, a joint venture between HEP Oil Company, Ltd. and Joint Resources, Inc. focused on the Barnett Combo Play in Cooke and Montague Counties resulted in the sale of producing wells and accompanying acreage to EOG Resources, Inc. This acquisition by EOG helped propel the Company to be the biggest producer in the Barnett Combo as a result of its dominant acreage position.
