Carter P. Leggett
Mr. Leggett joined B-29 Investments, LP (“B-29”) in 2013. Mr. Leggett’s primary responsibilities include originating and evaluating new investment opportunities, supporting portfolio company management teams and maintaining banking and financial sponsor relationships.
Additionally, Mr. Leggett currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at CP Energy Holdings, LLC (“CP Energy”). CP Energy is a crude oil gathering, marketing, logistics and transportation company with operations in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. In this capacity, Mr. Leggett is responsible for the financial, accounting and treasury operations of CP Energy and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Leggett serves on the Board of Directors for Bell Supply Company, LLC, BSC Rod Lift Solutions, LLC and Catalyst Artificial Lift, LLC. Mr. Leggett assists these companies by providing advice and support on various strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining B-29, Mr. Leggett worked at First Reserve Corporation, an energy-focused private equity firm where he focused primarily on companies in the oilfield services space. Mr. Leggett also worked as a business analyst for Select Energy Services, a B-29 portfolio company, and as an analyst in the Energy Group in the Investment Banking Division of Citigroup. Mr. Leggett received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and B.A. in economics from Duke University.
